If yes, can you please tell me more about it? What type of settings does it have? How can you configure its display? Can it be turned off? Can you choose what it displays (time, altitude, other things). Would you maybe post some photos of it along with photos of the PCM settings for it?

I am asking a lot but I am sure it will be generally helpful for folk considering it.

Thank you in advance!

It can't be turned off and is an analogue display rotating rose. Time and altitude are displayed digitally.

The other settings you list can be displayed in the rightmost tube on the digital cockpit along with other items such as battery temp, media and so on.

Compass may be preferred to Sports Chrono clock (on CT models) but not really needed given the other options to display the same data.

I went compass for the carbuncle (sorry, nod to Porsche heritage) but only due to some distant childhood memory of a friends parents car having one. May find it mildly interesting for a quick orientation glance but really I don’t need either a clock or compass there but wanted the mode select dial ?

Thanks! I already know all of this! Not what I was asking (besides the turning off part, which you can do with the regular Sports Chrono clock.

Same here, I want the dial, and I find the regular clock/lap timer pretty much useless. In anticipation for my car, I was curious about the settings you can have for the compass and some photos of it. Do you mind sharing some? The settings for the compass are somewhere called Displays > Additional display I think!

Thanks for sharing! It's beautiful! Do you mind sharing the settings available for it? I wonder how you can customise that display. I'd like to see what is displayed when you go to "Settings > Displays > Additional Instrument".

This is great! Thank you! It seems like you can hide the clock, but the compass stays active? That's pretty cool. With the regular clock, if you hide the clock, the timer stops too.

Side-note: how lazy are the Porsche programmers to replace that image in the PCM with the compass that you have?

Alas, I‘m also in anticipation mode, it was still at Emden yesterday dammit!

Looks nice in Bordeaux. I’ve got the neodyme accents so think they apply where you have the Bordeaux, well looked that way in the confuserator.
I think that's correct. The Neodyme option looks like a bargain in comparison with a red or white compass...even with Bordeaux Red interior I couldn't bring myself to stump up another £245 for the car to be built with the standard black part then get sent to another line to have someone remove the black dial and replace it with a red one (which I believe is how many of the Exlusive Manufaktur options are installed).
