Looks like my car (sitting in Emden now over 3 weeks) just missed the 3rd boat to Jacksonville. This is getting pretty sad! They are not telling me any reason why this car is being bypassed. My TYD delivery date has now changed from April to end of May. Looks like I’m out of this group….

This is starting to get quite frustrating…..

it appears TYD is a little confused. It updated all the dates to show it would not load til the Siem Confusious on 15AP. It still shows all those dates but just updated to On Vessel Freedom Ace. Dealer confined it is on the Freedom Ace, I wonder if all the dates will go back to what they were…

Ahhh, I was looking at Supreme Ace, my bad. Yes, our ship went to Rhode Island, Baltimore and then on to Jax.

There was pandemonium at the Five Star Logistics Terminal in Tin-Can Island yesterday when a 2000 model Toyota Camry shipped in onboard M.V. Freedom Ace, a ship laden with 1,198 fairly used vehicles, burst into flames. As at the time of this report, there were conflicting reports over the cause of the fire which left the car badly damaged. While a version said there was an explosion before the fire, another version said it was caused by an electrical fault. The Panama flagged ship has MOL as its shipping agents in Nigeria. A dockworker who preferred to remain anonymous, told Vanguard that there was a loud explosion inside the ship before his colleagues working there ran out. This "port processing" status in Benicia is the worst one so far if you ask me. All the others allowed for some way to get more information about what to expect (how long it takes to build a car / shipping schedule etc). Now it's really just waiting until it gets on a truck with no idea how long it'll take.

I'm checking TYD 10+ times a day, easily ?
