I finally did it...ordered

After some time of thinking and lots of changing in exterior, colours and options, I have finalized my order. Also thanks to all the information I found on this website. I went from Volcano Grey, Frozen and Neptune Blue with a beige interior to Coffee Beige and Black interior. I was lucky, that my dealer had a Coffee Beige Taycan in his showroom last week and I totally felt in love with it. It looks just better in person than on any pics. Also it seem like, that coffee beige attracts more woman ;-). The final puzzle was actually deciding about the door handles, black or not. Also Neodyme accents are not as gold as in the pictures.

Some highlights of my options:

• 20 inch wheels - wanted the 21 for looks, but decided for a bit more range
• 14 way electric Seats with Massage - I need it
• Air Suspension - I have it on my etron (SUV) and I love it
• Panoramic Roof with Sunshine Control - Amazing technology
• Remote Parking with the App - I need this to get the car out of tight spaces
• Noise Insulated Glass - Have this too now, and just so silent
• Innodrive - I am a lazy driver
• Passenger Display - dont need it, but I thought it looks just a bit better with it
• Heads up Display - still not sure, if I really need it

Delivery should be in February/March. Looking forward to it.

when i placed an order, it was almost the same as i had in my picture here…while this is more like…grey-gold?

Agreed on neodyme, its; not so bright (i have neodyme with truffle-brown interior).

regarding 20” vs.21” wheels: believe it or not, but i have lower consumption with my 21” summer tyres than with 20” winter tyres... and the car looks much better on 21” as well.

Yeah, I have just researched, that the 20“ Turbo have the best range, so I just went for it.

That's what I said: my foot, my winter/summer tyres, same daily driving... less consumption with 21" summer tyres.
Jokes aside: IMO, battery & outside temperature plays more important role than size of tyres.

I really don’t understand this obsession people have with range. The Taycan has plenty for most situations. I just chose the wheels that I liked the styling of the most (21” Cross Turismo design) and work around whatever range impact that has. The range has been completely fine so far, even on an 1100 mile road trip.

Yes I know, I am driving an etron SUV almost for 4 years, and charging speed is more important. But every little more range gives you a bit more flexibility. And there are still countries here in Europe, where they dont have so many highspeedchargers. Also there are just sometimes distances, where I need to drive back and forth within a day and with a bit more of range, I wouldnt have to charge at all.
