Which is complete bullshit; as between the cayenne and the panamera is exactly why I placed my deposit.I’ve been saying that for weeks. It’s now similar to 911 prices according to reports
It’s what I’m willing to afford for an electric car.

Exactly what I was thinking. They’ve invested over $1B in electro-mobility and there’s no way it’s not going to command premium pricing to start recouping that investment. Problem is, where do they go from here with further EV model pricing? Will the Macan EV carry a massive premium? Will the supposed 928 replacement, Taycan coupé/whatever, be even more than a Carrera? I can see the Taycan 4S being close to $100K well-speced, which lines up well with the Model S, but getting up above $130/140K, especially if the economy continues in the US the way it is, will make it a very tough sell beyond the initial fan base in 2020. I want an EV and I need to find a bigger ride as my kids are getting too big for the rear seats in my 911, but at this point a CPO Panamera 4 e-Hybrid is looking like a better option (although nowhere near as good looking).
