Cars are definitely shipping with the battery now. Mine 4S ST was into build last month and I pick it up this weekend so it was 5 weeks from start of build to collection. Hope you all get yours soon!

No. As I said no call/car yet. They told me that the batteries were expected to arrive in Italy by the end of this week. I have 3 more days to hope to be as lucky as @putrella. I will post here as soon as I know more.

PS: my car was "completed" July 15 and has all the options I ordered (I know it because I made a paid inquiry based on my VIN)

CT4 built June been shipped to Ireland, still waiting on 12v battery ,nothing yet as of October 12th .
Still at port of Emden for last 4 months. Pathetic service especially if production line cars are getting first dibs !

My GTS was built in Mid September.
The car arrived last week at the dealership in Luxembourg.
But also without 12v battery.
Nobody knows when the battery finally arrives....(12.10.22)
Can be November, December or 23 !
Honestly it's a shame...

They have been sold regardless of the missing battery. The dealers were invoiced.

That's not how it works. The car is in Porsche's custody until the dealer takes delivery (which means their truck picks it up from the port/holding area). No one is getting invoiced until then. And I specifically said the PCNA numbers are presented as both "retail deliveries" - which implies, you know, a delivery - _and_ as "sales", which could be "X promised to buy this car, and gave us 2c."

That depends on where it's delivered. For example, in The Netherlands, Porsche delivers to the importer (PON) which then arranges delivery to the local dealer. The dealer at that point gets invoiced but doesn't have to option to refuse delivery or not pick it up.

I can understand that, and it makes sense; my original comment referred to US sales, reported as deliveries. It's either funny math on PCNA's part, or 1k+ Taycan owners don't post here.

Dealer called, seems there is finally a battery en route for my Taycan, should be able to pick it up in 2 weeks. Get the final go tomorrow.
