I'm happy to wait for a working heater because I do NOT want to experience the horrors we've read about all winter. If July rolls around and I still don't have my car, I reserve the right to change my attitude hehe.
I live in South Florida, I'll take mine without a heater at all! lol.

Not in a rush as well, and very satisfied with the order process to get exactly what I want, but regardless the anticipation is killing me.

I wish that @SergeyIndy hadn't gotten into my head about broken VLC roofs, will have to make sure it works perfectly before I sign the dotted line. I would rather pass on the build and order another than have a car that requires an entire new roof. Ah, well, the trials and tribulations of Porsche buyers, lol.

Well, not sure if I did not notice this before, or it just showed up, but I scrolled down the page a little on the new track your dream site and saw this section that shows insights from production and lo and behold, 5 pictures of my car in the production line.

pretty cool, and now I don't have to learn networking and IT to see these pics.

maybe these will show up for some of you?

So you too are moving on from a panamera ST to a Neptune blue taycan? Great minds think alike!

That's amazing!! Since mine just started production I'm sure I'll have to wait a while, but I was right that they'd be incorporated into this new site design! Woohoo!!

Yes! Have always been a wagon guy ever since my first nice car, an original Audi allroad, but strayed away for awhile until the Panamera ST came out and fell in love. Was going to go with a cross turismo which is awesome but glad I held out for the sport turismo body style, don’t need the clearance and like the low stance.

so, it seems like there is less of a delay for the pictures than before, my car started production on 2/11 and was marked as completed production on 2/16 with the pictures already showing up on 2/16. I seem to recall people stating that sometimes the pictures didn’t show up until much later, so this is great. The new site was up for me on 2/16, but who knows the pictures might show up real time with production now that the new site is up? Here’s hoping and I’m sure you will be checking a few times a day as I certainly would!

Oh man, you had to tell me that! As if I didn't have a heart attack yesterday when I saw my car was in production after being delayed last week. Oh who's kidding, I was checking multiple times a day anyway!

Too many to list. Includes a MY23 Taycan RWD

And the rest of us without access to TYD just keep calling our dealers once a week and bug them about progress (or lack of it).

I'm jealous ?

Yup i got the email. ironically this is the first time since i ordered where the TYD dates haven't shifted at all from a day-day basis. Maybe the dates they've posted are somewhat reliable. My SA sent me a picture of the Porsche Ordering System though, and all my V-dates dont line up with the TYD dates, so who knows.

With no TYD the App is hopeless. Mine has been in production for 2 weeks yet the App is stuck at Stage 2 with the wrong picture.

If I was in a rush to get this car I wouldn't have ordered it, and I enjoy the anticipation, and for now I'm happy to wait for a working heater because I do NOT want to experience the horrors we've read about all winter. In a rush? LOL. 20 months since I put down my first deposit and I finally picked it up last weekend. Over a year of that spent contacting various dealers nationwide to even find an allocation for the car I wanted. Taycan is a car for the patient.

As for things you read about, remember, internet amplifies bad experiences. You read how someone got mugged in some city, but never read how many people visited the same city without getting robbed. You hear about lottery winners, but never about the losers (which outnumber the winners millions to one). Don't get me wrong, it's good to be aware of potential problems (and better yet, solutions to said problems) but remember, you are not likely to encounter most of them, if any. I'll give you an example, I kept reading how bad the EA charging stations, how many people, even one who picked up his car barely a month before mine, didn't work with EA. I read it, did some mitigation (e.g. activating my Porsche-EA subscription early, installed EA app in case I needed it), but still planned a 3,500 mile drive home from the dealer, which I completed few hours ago, all on EA chargers without any major issues. I freaked myself out a little one day thinking my heater is not working, but it was, just took another minute to feel the heat. Bottom line, yea, problems happen, and you are likely to read about them (wait a week, I will write about issues I encountered on my way home from delivery too), but treat them as education to be prepared, should they happen, but don't expect them. "Be prepared for the worst, hope for the best, expect just fine to happen".

I most definitely agree with this sentiment, and in that line of thinking, I am expecting my car in about 1 month, and have downloaded the EA app and set it up, but how do I activate the Porsche-EA subscription? I have the Porsche App, my current Porsche(non electric) and the new Taycan in transit show up in it, but do not immediately see where to activate this subscription without having the car.

Totally agree. I joke that I usually take the position, "If it's going to happen to someone, it'll happen to me" so I try to do as much anticipation of problems and attempt to mitigate them as possible. I'd just rather trust that Porsche will do their part as well in correcting issues, like the heater stuff, before they happen to new owners in the future.

Annnnddd.... look what I woke up to this morning! Weeehooo!!
