Really??? This seems to be just a gov subsidy grab. The big news was that the big boss, now VW boss, went to Chile to open a e-fuels factory to keep making more ICE stinkers. Price per liter: 4 USD! The real news is, that they are so behind with EVs and battery tech, that they get slaughtered in the Chinese EV market! If the German car industry want to survive in the long run they have to compete with CATL.
