I have booked it in with the dealership next week… however, I will give it another go this weekend again. Maybe just need to use a bit more force !It's a tight clearance, but there is just enough room to disconnect it.
You need to pull the connector straight up and don't let the cable twist around so that the nut catches the plastic once you've loosened it (and I'm not trying to state the obvious, but also make sure you loosen the nut enough to actually get it off - I didn't the first time I tried).
Once disconnected, keep the connector away from anything metal and leave it disconnected for at least 5 minutes to hopefully clear the errors (assuming they are not related to an actual fault).
Otherwise, for peace of mind and less hassle get it booked into a dealer ASAP and have them investigate. If the connector isn't being cooperative perhaps this is best? More hassle, but peace of mind?
