Was particularly interesting to me was to read about your thoughts coming from a Tesla Model X, as I am also doing the same transition, completely agree that Tesla ‘hopecasting’ with their mileage predictions. I have 5he long range which shows 307 @ 100% (used to show 330 but changed after a software update and seemed uncanny that it was at a point of media attention towards Tesla about their OTT predictions), never got more than 200 ish.

Am (fingers crossed)…..(toes crossed……and any other thing i can cross?)…. that the start of my delivery window is only weeks away, also same as you am on Octopus Intelligent tariff but with a Ohme Home Pro charger.

Also have the wife’s EV upgrade in the pipeline (Cupra Born V3) due March 24.

oh and also have gone for Carmine Red PRK3V1T8

I had the long-range too and I was just never comfortable with the range numbers. This is still settling in. I feel more confident with the numbers to help me plan my journey and charge.

Tinting front windows is illegal in UK and your sure to be pulled over as soon as the police spy you….Taycan is not a discreet car

I wouldn’t like to say for how long you would get away with it over here, but with a Taycan, you would already be attracting attention …. So odds would probably be against you to getting away unnoticed….
