v1.4.0-44 is out with support for Toyota vehicles because my sister has a 4Runner

Features that are now available for Toyota vehicles include:

- Vehicle location
- Locking the car
- Toggling climatization
- All widgets
- Storage mode
- Vehicle lock/door status

And just like the rest of Electric Sidecar's features, this all works on the Apple Watch as well.

Additional changes that went into this release:
- German strings in the Settings page have been tuned thanks to @dws_ch
- Fixed a minor bug introduced in v1.4.0-42 that made the watch app command buttons gray instead of translucent.
- The haptic engine for the battery view is now lazily created to reduce phone/watch battery impact.
- Non-EVs now show fuel history in the same way that battery history is shown for EVs.

The trip logger does try to snapshot the start and end state of each trip; are you finding that it’s not picking up the data like you’d expect?

The trip logger does try to snapshot the start and end state of each trip; are you finding that it’s not picking up the data like you’d expect?

Maybe I am just looking in the wrong place but in trip data I don’t see start and end state of charge. I see mileage befor and after along with time, miles, mph, and kw/mi. Once again amazing app

Ahh so there are two forms of trip data available: from your vehicle (which you get to from your vehicle page, and is data collected by your car), and from the journeys tab (which is the Electric Sidecar trip logger, and is data collected from your phone). I need to merge these two datasets together as I completely understand why it’s confusing right now. To see your journey logs with charge data, you tap the calendar button in the journeys tab.

Looking in to this now. The crash is happening all the way down in the Objective-C runtime so I'm going to need to build some mechanisms for surfacing those errors to the UI.

Hah as these things typically go, in piping the errors from the db up to the UI I realized that the vehicle state logging logic was happening on the main thread as part of the UI updates, which certainly wasn't contributing to app performance!

Thankfully these state log writes are pretty quick, but as part of this error hardening I've made state logging a more canonical pattern that keeps the save operations happening on a background thread. Less work on the main thread is always a win, even better if it comes with surfacing errors more clearly in the interface

Forcing an intentional exception down in the Objective-C depths of the app now appropriately surfaces it in the error list:

I can't repro the provided crash, but with this going out in the next beta update hopefully we'll get a clearer sense of what the underlying failure actually is.
