Defeat it how? like tape it down and add another -proper-spoiler on the rear or something?
The Panamera spoiler has a switch that allows you to control the spoiler. You can raise it fully, or set it at a partial deployment (don't know why this is). I imagine the Taycan will have a switch as well, but maybe not. If they do, and there's a way to cut power to it without messing up anything else, I will..

Of course everyone here cares about what their car looks like. Some may not admit it, but everyone does.

I had to look at the Mission E rear spoiler again and I must admit that I do like the look of it better than what we currently see on the prototypes:)

Good option, you can probably even get a custom rear spoiler as well to give the rear end much needed cohesion

It does indeed. And I don't see any reason whatsoever why Porsche can't put the Mission E spoiler onto the production Taycan

I mean Ferrari did it with the Pista, why can't Porsche do it with the Taycan?

Here´s the latest Taycan Video TEaser. I´ve already posted this but it was an instagram video with low quality. This one is Full HD.

I asked PAG_J1 and he said no but it appears that the Porsche logo/lettering is indee iluminated which from behind at night will make quite an impact. Doenst look to be a reflection from the full width bar.

Maybe but I doubt that.
The letters are chromed, right?
In my country it's forbidden, just like the illuminated logo on the new Honda E.
On the other hand, rear view cameras are allowed though...
But then again, Porsche doesn't offer them on the Taycan, unfortunately.

Since it´s a light. It can easly deactivated. Just like the sport exhaust button on 911´s. As far as the rear view cameras go, on an article it said it was because of the wide rear arches. By the way, audi dynamic turn signals are not allowed on the US.

I dont think the letters are chromed. The lettering on the taycan sits behind a glass panel unlike the new 911.

A bit ambiguous but I have some hope that the spoiler may- just may-make it through

Since most current EV designs are trying to cut out as much wind resistance as possible would not a spoiler be counterintuitive?

Except for some ugly red tape around the rear lights I believe we are finally seeing the final design.....

I simply don't believe the dealers know anything more than we do about the car. First, Porsche cannot count on them to keep anything secret. Second, sales folks are one of the least credible sources of information. Third, my rep at one of the largest and best dealers in the midwest is absolutely straight with me, and tells me he knows nothing other than shipments should start late this year, with deliveries to customers early next year.
Another thing, i´ve found today that since some days ago that several medial outlets have the photos for the Taycan but...Press Embargo. But hey, motor press is more reliable (regarding keeping secrets) than the oficial Centres that sell their cars.
