Hello everyone,

I’m starting this thread to ask to you Taycan and other Porsche owners what i would do.

The delivery from my Porsche Taycan sport turismo is this January.
My Taycan has the sportseats with the logo of Porsche on the headrest. Unfortunately the rear headrests doesn’t have the logo.

I know this isn’t a world first problem but my dealership can order 2 headrests for the rear seats with the logo.
At this moment i don’t know the price but he warned me, because it’s not on the car from factory, it can be very expensive to buy apart later.

So i’m in doubt because the logos at rear seats looks also nice on pictures but otherwise:
- it’s again a extra cost.
- my Taycan will also have a headrest in the middle.

The middle headrest has no logo (i’m from Belgium, don’t know if this is also in other countries that the middle headrest has no logo). When i see a picture with the logo on the left and right headrest and the middle headrest has no logo, it looks less good. Less uniform.

What would you do?

I have logos on the front seats and have never really noticed them. It hadn’t even occurred to me that they aren’t on the rear seats until reading this post. If buying again I wouldn’t option the logos, it’s probably the only option that I chose that I wouldn’t bother with next time

If uniformity is a concern, do you realise that the rear 2+1 seats don't match the style of the 18 way sports seats? (They're always in the same style as the 8 and 14 easy front seats).
I spec'ed my previous Porsche with crests the on the front headrests only, to be honest I rarely noticed them- maybe the crest on the front armrest would be more worthwhile?

The difference in style between front rear seats when you choose sports seats is something I never noticed. Thanks for sharing this.

Always nice to read such things. It’s sometimes a thing to consider with a new car.

You're welcome. Just for completeness- though I'd guess that the 2+1 rear option is a must for you- if you were to choose the 18 way fronts but not the +1 option for the rears, they would all come in the Sport style.

I recommend driving with kids in the back, then you don’t notice the seat differences or logos… your eyes are drawn elsewhere.

What color leather did you get? I have beige leather with the crests on front and back headrests. It is hard to see them on the front headrests due to the light leather color and basically impossible on the back headrests unless the angle of the sun is lined up perfectly. So, in my humble opinion, I think you are fine without them on the back headrests if a lighter color leather has been spec'd.

It has black leather.

Something else where I just thought about, something to consider to not take the rear headrests with logo, is that it would also be more difficult to see those logo’s from the outside there my rear windows are going to have the privacy glass.

You can definitely see them better in black leather, but people outside the car will not seem them at all with the privacy glass.

I feel your pain, although I don't allow my kids to make cotton candy and milkshakes in the back so it's not quite that bad.

You need those, every time you look in the rear view mirror you wil miss them.

And for real. I wouldn’t spent any money on that. The ones in the front on the passenger side I see quite often. Like to have them but wouldn’t pay at lot for them afterwards.
