Porsche NA delays reimbursement payment for charger replacement

Submitted 2/29 and recieved the check on 4/19. Would have come earlier, but delayed by FedEx for a couple of days....

My Porsche tax rebate check arrived today.
Had been scheduled to arrive yesterday but FedEx experienced a delay.
Fortunately my wife was home to sign for the delivery since I’m skinning up a closed ski resort right now.
Apparently Porsche was is inclined to take the most expensive approach for any endeavor - paying extra for FedEx when checks of many multiples of $600 are send via first class mail by both government entities and companies.
Tesla Universal Wall Charger whose invoice I had submitted on March 5 will be installed on Friday next week - thank you Porsche for subsiding the upgrades on my ski house!

What's funny is that Porsche got my check to me in less than 4 weeks after submitting but they recently sent me an email apologizing for the delay in sending me a cheek - maybe I'l get two ... and no I wouldn't keep it if they did!

Received submission confirmation on March 4. Check noted as expected within 4 weeks. Still no check.

Received check April 25.

Been over 4 weeks and still no payment. Now Porsche saying payments delayed for over 6 weeks. Considering the last time I had my TAYCAN at the dealer to fix leaking battery compartment and defective heater , all which took 6 weeks, you have to wonder just how inefficient Porsche NA is that it takes over 6 weeks to send out a check

I called them 3-4 times. They don’t know what the hell is going on. Asked for Anne Marie or whatever to return call with more information since she is in charge of it. Never heard back from her. It’s unacceptable and just makes people upset with Porsche. I go to different locations and it’s a pain they are so unreliable.

My timing was almost exactly the same.
But I would have been fine receiving it weeks or even months later.
Compared to the total amortized cost of Porsche ownership, $600 is trivial, plus it's an entirely unanticipated bonus payment anyway.
(I submitted the receipt for a Tesla Universal Wall Charger, and I've continued to use the Porsche EVSE at 50% on a clothes dryer outlet until that Tesla hard-wired charger is installed, monitoring the heat with a temperature gun.)

Ya well I travel and this has been very inconvenient. That’s why I did it early. They have been very unhelpful and it’s a pain to keep calling for address updates because they have no idea.

Hmm...that is odd....I'd reach out to them if I were you.
Also- many have said that the delivery requireda signature. That was not the case with mine.

I got that same email yesterday. My request was submitted 3/14.
