I tried this on Turbo and Turbo S sedans within 500+ radius (California essentially) and all Turbos are the same, all Turbo S the same. The price and color was all the same so I double checked a few VINs and they are indeed different in the different listings. Turbo’s are all chalk, TS’s all Oak Green. I guess Porsche tightly controls the configuration of launch inventory vehicles, not something I knew about.

Quick update: car just showed up in TYD for first time and is currently in the North Atlantic with estimated arrival at dealer on 6/26.

Same as I found in Austin. Thought it was a fluke.

It would be interesting to see how much below MSRP/above invoice everyone is paying for the 2025s. If people are paying MSRP, there is no possibility of my upgrading from my MY2023 (slim chance anyway).

Porsche often do this for model launches - there is an option code (whose value escapes me now because I’m not a bona fide anorak), which represents a combination of interior trim and exterior color. The dealers are forced to get cars optioned with this spec in order to obtain other allocations. The code is reused across generations, though obviously with different choices of shade/color etc. Not every generation receives this treatment, they skipped over 991 (and 992?).

The improvements are all in areas which aren’t important to me and whilst I love the new green not really enough to change my car, with which I am delighted, for a new one, so my poll answer would be none of these

I got some photos from the factory when the car is built and it looks like another car sneaked in there, i ordered a Neptune blue but a metallic grey sneaked in there..
