Hi all,
New member after placing partial reservation on ‘25 4S oak green metallic neo. Loved the build obviously on the one I ordered (not a local dealer but will be driving back 250 miles after picking up) and included 95% of options important to me….only a few options that I still find myself thinking about, namely HD LED matrix lights in glacier blue as well as the illuminated taillight in red. My question is for anyone with knowledge on adding post-production options or who is also eagerly awaiting their ‘25 taycan….
1. are both of these options specifically available to add after pickup through maybe a local dealer (ofc with expectation it will be more money out of pocket)
2. is inside ambient lighting standard on 4S models because I cannot seem to find it on the configurator app.
Thanks in advance and very much looking forward to picking up my first Porsche this July!

Personal choice but the blue tinge isn't great and the rear lit strip / logo worse still. Historically, the Porsche Tequipment website offered retrofit headlight options and I guess will do so for MY25. I'd be surprised if the rear lighting option doesn't feature too in time. Expect to pay considerably more than if optioned.

Check the standard spec for the 4S on the configurator as I think ambient (colour selectable) is now standard and will be listed there.

Appreciate the response, ya I did see ambient is standard as well and re: the headlight/taillight options, I have read similarly more than a few comments online from Porsche enthusiasts who agree they don't like the color which makes me wonder if its worth it. Also, I guess now I am just curious as to how the standard "glass rearlight strip with Porsche logo will actually look without any lighting/illumination...

additionally, any thoughts on just getting the HD-matrix Design LED (but not glacier blue)?

To be honest, I had the thought about the rear light strip. But I saw it in real and it’s gorgeous.
I saw also the come in/ come out animation and it’s even better ?

I definitely agree and thanks for sharing the vid ?? Even if it not classic in the sense, I thought it still has a clean elegance to it, but either way glad it will most likely be an option hopefully

Standard lights are now matrix as per the upgrade to prior model years. The HD ones offer much denser pixel arrays and a few more tricks. Not sure I'd pay to upgrade as they are inexplicably pricey. Good I'm sure but the standard matrix are just fine ro be honest.

Rear lights strip - just look at current model or go to your dealership as they will have a demo MY25. Something that doesn't needed to be tarted up!

I find it simultaneously gimmicky and awesome. I don’t recall this option for FY23; is this new for the facelift or just something I overlooked?
In any case - congrats on the oak green. I’d certainly go for that if it was available.

There is a greater chance (no guarantee of course) than the Gen1 that Porsche will some day enable the the new matrix headlight with full functionality in the US. Unless of course you just hack your car yourself in the interest of safety and not blinding other road users.
