A third Porsche charging station in Germany:

"Porsche Charging Lounge in Ingolstadt, very good connections - right on the A9 motorway. Four DC fast charging stations with 400 kW and four AC charging points with 22 kW each are available. The stylish atmosphere invites you to talk to other Porsche enthusiasts over selected drinks and snacks."

FYI @Jonathan S.

There is also one in Wurzburg:

But I wouldn’t know what to say to them!
My CCS1 charging stations conversations have always emerged from a shared bond a la a POW camp.

And nobody talks to me at Magic Docks.
I don’t think the Tesla drivers resent my presence.
Rather, they don’t usually have anything to discuss:
“Are you hitting your charging curve on that stall?”
“Yes, and you?”
“Same here.”
(Awkward silence ensues.)
“How do you like your Model 3?”
"Fine thanks -- and how about your Model Y?"
"Love it!"
(More awkward silence.)
"So how many near-fatalities have been caused by your FSD?"
"The count is almost as high as Elon's kids! How about you?"
"Just one: my wife almost killed me for paying ten grand for something that doesn't do much!"

Why do you have to attack me directly? ?
Sorry, but she put me up to it!

Returning to the main topic, as a Facebook group user posted in a similar thread,
"Taycan drivers don't need charging station amenities if they're hitting the charging curve since they won't have enough time to enjoy any such amenities; Bolt drivers though, they need a hotel!"

There is also a very convenient one on the way to the Austrian Alps in Koblach. Should be great when going skiing and it will make it possible to arrive with enough charge to reach at destination and to the same Lounge on the way back.

I have used the Lounge it Bingen many times and it is very nice. Clean bathrooms , good coffee but no food. Fast charging and most important no waiting because only it is only accessible with the Porsche Charge card. And even if 6 Taycan or Macan would occupy the chargers they should be on their way in 20 minutes because there is nothing else to do anyway. And they probably would have different start times anyway.

I think it is a good concept for charging on longer trips. Mostly the virtual guarantee the chargers are available even on busy days.

I don’t think however that it is a good financial decision for Porsche. Can’t imagine they make money on the charging fee only. And if they opening up to other brands the advantage of exclusivity (and thus waiting ) is gone.

I asked them this question directly when I was there and they had a Porsche team member meeting & greeting. He said it was 100% coming out of the marketing budget and was there predominantly (at least at the time) to give confidence to traditional Porsche drivers and tease them out of their petrol SUVs.
