Stage is set for the next gen now. Should be rolling out mules by next year.

Not quite, as it was a efficiency choice.


It lowered the drag coefficent of the taycan turbo s from 0.26 to 0.22.

These same headlights are also on the macan EV. So they are here to stay

Unless you have some insider info, i would doubt it.

The 718 EV mules have the same headlights also.

Kinda/sorta. Friend of mine over at Weissach said they’re going with an outboard design like the original Mission E.

Funny thing, I much prefer them to the first gen lights which look stuck on and completely un-integrated and thus draggy (which they are). Beauty in the eye of the beholder eh?
