Looks amazing , I nearly went for that but switched at the last minute to Mamba Green (which I haven't seen in real life). I think your colour looks amazing. I hope I never see one on the roads and think I should have gone for that. Haven't got mine yet, now 3 weeks late.

Thanks and of course I agree with you . However, I think there are a lot of pictures/videos of Mamba Green on the Taycan and it is certainly very bold and eye-catching in the flesh. I am sure you will not be disappointed in the colour choice.

Now, in terms of delivery that's another thing and would seem to suggest its part of a production batch that got held back by Porsche. You should certainly contact Porsche GB in Reading for more information if that's the case. Some have been saying something to do with quality control on a particular couple of days and others, parts/component supply delays. Its worth finding out....Good luck.

Thank you, you have cheered me up no end late and with possible problems. I have been given a lot of rubbish about delivery times and not being able to pin it down an actual date - transporters, in docks, out of factory etc even though it is supposed to be in the UK and "left" the factory in Germany on the 6th Oct. I will give the dealer a call ( they are one those owned by Porsche ). My view of Porsche is the cars are great but the service is poor, at least in the UK. I have a silly white paper weight and email to setting up my Porsche connect from them, just no car or date. I would prefer they stop talking about Porsche "DNA" ( marketing crap ) and started getting the basics right - like keeping you in the loop rather than constantly having to ask what is going on. Thanks again for the info and I do like your colour choice. Would be great to see some more photos when all cleaned up.

Wow thanks, that is far more than I expected. I will start with a call to the guy who I have been dealing with and go from there. My girls are more upset than me as it's my birthday tomorrow and I have been joking for months that it's my birthday present from me.

So, my car in Ice Grey Metallic has just arrived and I know everyone (including myself) were keen to see the colour on an actual car. Bear in mind the car has not been cleaned or had its PDI as yet.

I like it a lot as its not as stark as white but still shows off the lines of the car nicely. It did not come across as particularly "sparkly" but I think that was more a case of where it was parked (under a canopy).

Now its going to get prep'd, PPF'd in time I hope for next week...

I can appreciate what you mean but look at the Cayenne next to it in some pics or the white tape on the car, that gives a reasonable comparison with white...

I do like the lighter colours on the Tycan. My initial colour build was the frozen blue metallic but I’m now thinking more of maybe crayon. My car doesn’t come until March so I’ll probably change my mind several times before I have to make my final choice.

I struggled with chalk, ice grey and mamba green.
Family ruled out mamba green, plus I thought also that lighter colors show the shape of the taycan better. So was debating between ice grey and chalk. I like chalk a lot and have seen in person, but after seeing the pics above I picked ice-grey with the red interior. I would have been happy with both though.

My build is sometime in November and delivery early next year.
I got the 21" Taycan Exclusive wheels with the high-gloss black option. I got the dark grey accents inside and the chalk seatbelts to add some contrast.
