Taycan won’t charge with AC port

Hello, my 2021 Taycan Turbo can no longer charge on AC, just with the DC. I charged at home with the original porsche charger. It won t start charging with any AC, at any location. It has a weird sound like a vent when i'm trying to charge. I mention that the DC charging/fast charging works well. Did any one had this problem? Thank you.

Per other posts on the forum, this often means the car's on-board charger is defective, if you have tried AC charging at more than one AC charging location, using more than one wall charger, not just the Porsche mobile charger.
What size on-board charger does your Taycan have: 11kw or 22kw?

your onboard charger has likely failed and will need to be diagnosed and serviced.

not cheap…22 kW chargers have issues - it's a well known problem - and these fail often.

My 2021 stopped working, dealer replaced it under warranty. Said if I had to pay for it, it would be over $7000.00¡

4000 euro if you have no warranty and replace it with a new one.
In some cases they can be repaired by 3rd party.

Just got a call from my service center -- they placed the order for the part, but there's no ETA. They want me to come get the car and just DC charge it while I wait. This definitely sucks.

An update. Since last month Porsche has extended the warranty of the chargers to 8 years.

My failure is of course right before that. Sent an e-mail to Porsche Germany and asked for goodwill.
