My cars been sat at Emden since 7th Nov and didn't make it on to the ship on the Thursday or Friday (apparently 2 a week). Is any one else stuck in the same situation (CP08 was 5th Nov)? I've been told there's a number of cars waiting to be sent over, haven't had a timeline from dealer but is this a normal wait time ? Thanks

We have a Cayenne that has been in Emden since November 3rd and we thought it was going to get on the Mediterranean Highway but the ship left without it. Now waiting to see if it is going to be put on the Siem Confucius which is on its way to Emden but is 4 days behind schedule.

As for my Taycan, it got delayed until January because of the PSCB issue where now I believe the brakes are now being used on German cars so the buyer can get the government discount prior to year end and those of us in other countries have to wait.

To answer your question, I think if your car has been built early but the shipment has been consigned to a certain ship, you wait for that ship and can't go earlier. Hope this helps.

Check with your dealer for which ship you are scheduled on. It is available in the dealer system (same one where they show the schedule, just a different tab). My car got to the port around when a ship was loading, but wasn't scheduled for that ship and so it didn't make it on that one and had to wait until the next one.

Thank you that really helps I’ll find out which ship it is hopefully assigned to, the build was only actually a couple of days late. Cheers

It’s the Mallaca Highway.
Sorry should have checked are you in the north or south of UK? If south then it’s Mallaca Highway, which is currently docked at Sheerness, usually takes four days to get to Emden, offload, load and then come back.

Same here, according to the dealer there is a strike in port hence delay of leaving the port. Asked for vessel name but they claimed not to have and not possible to obtain. Think it’s a bit crap that with today’s tech they don’t provide their customer with a tracking system. Believe they have a tracking option for the 911 to US customers..Still I can’t complaint too much as they advised Nov arrival when ordering.. just can’t wait:)

My car was stuck in Bremerhaven for three weeks and the domestic transportation took another two weeks. If there was no pandemic, I would have been tempted to pay for factory pick up.

Yep I've had the same, no vessel name available to them. I was retold the same story that there's alot of cars waiting to cross hence the delay. Oh well !!

I had a build date of 30th October, my 4S left Emden on the 9th November, and today it has docked in Grimsby UK. Awaiting a phone call tomorrow morning on a collection date. Excited!

Mine appears to be stuck at Sheerness - had a collection date (from Reading) of the weekend for about 12 hours before it fell back to being unknown.

Mine also finished on the 30th of October at the factory.
