And to be 100% sure. If I buy a CT4 J1.2 it will be similar 100-200? If so...holy ...what a deal!
Chill. You already asked like twice. Asking ten more times will not change anything :D

All the data is valid.

Just to be sure....better be safe than sorry. Potentially trading in a TS CT for a CT4 or ST4S is still quite a decision. In talka with the dealer, let's see what comes out. Forking out a lot of cash for such a trade is not going to happen. I do value the looks and feel of the TS CT as well. Speed is one, but let me chill down indeed and try to be rational. The latter I have never been able to be when it comes down to cars :)

But seriously, good stuff you did on the J1.2 tune. It's a fine performance that comes out.

A few questions from a J1.1 RS E-tron GT guy:

1) in Efficiency mode, it runs in FWD or "on-demand AWD" and always stays in 2nd gear. Will the modified ASG trigger a 1st gear downshift in Efficiency mode if it sends that "LC-mode code" or will it remain in 2nd gear?

2) also reading through and understanding the settings of the suspension ride-height on the E-tron GT, if I'm in efficiency and then go wide-open to the floor, will it then raise the car back to the default ride-height if that LC-mode code also changes suspension settings in your testing? I'm assuming it would vs remaining at the normal -22mm in lowered ride height when in efficiency

In range mode shifting into first gear is prohibited. It's always in second. The LC mode has no effect on that, since the shifts are controlled by the ASG.

No. LC mode does not change ride height. It changes only the damper firmness, these two things are not connected to each other.

Thank you for confirming that it's just the suspension damping.

Question on that 2nd gear/range mode, would it still allow for the extra power if I floor it? The rear motor RPM would just be lower with the ratio being halved vs 1st gear, but wasn't sure if the communication between the modules only allows the "full power" in 1st gear and thus would also be true with the tune?

I'm fine with it either way, just curious how it worked and which drive mode I should be in since I mostly drive in Efficiency (mostly for the -22mm ride height reduction).

btw, that price which includes a cloned ASG is fabulous! I have a VCDS (audi/VW thing) and can read the modules and clear the codes, hopefully that would be alright since I've pulled data to your competitors previously? My car is an SFD2 unfortunately, but VCDS will still allow for reading/clearing of codes and reading of modules with their Beta software.

Full power is allowed in any gear and any mode.
This can be changed of course if desired, but usually there is little point to.

For our process we require the data to be pulled with MapEV Diag.
You can use VCDS for your own needs of course, but for the sake of ordering an ENET cable is needed and the data read has to be done with MapEV Diag.

Can we expect 0-60 mph with the tune in say a GTS 1.2 to be similar to a standard Turbo 1.2 (In launch mode) so about 2.5 seconds or a bit quicker? Got any Dragy data?

I only got data in the wet with a 4S and that did 2.9s. It was wheelspinning all the way.

There's no physical difference at all between the GTS and the Turbo, 4S, 4 on the J1.2, so you can expect the same (or a bit better) numbers as the turbo on all of them, provided you have traction.

Here's a video of the run, just after it stopped raining...

About to pull the trigger on one of these but have a question, my GTS J1.2 has the push to pass button as well as the push to pass steering wheel lever, I don‘t really like the idea of this becoming redundant after the tune. In theory would it be possible to have say 850bhp all the time and then the final 100bhp only when the push to pass was activated (for the 10 second countdown)? Might sound a bit silly, just a bit of driver involvement if you get my drift. Not a deal killer but was wondering if stuff like that was an option. Also i know total power will be the same but with a Red Shift tuned Taycan Turbo (J1.1) with the increased throttle response enabled the driving modes made a massive difference to how the throttle reacted, i.e. In normal the car was much lazier off the line compared with sport plus. Is your tune similar and can stuff like that be adjusted remotely after it’s installed? Really appreciate all the work you’ve put into this and all the data in this forum. :like:

Sure, it's possible to make it do whatever. If that's what you want, then it can be done.

I was for example thinking to make the push to pass activate a drift mode. Limit the power to what the rear motor can do and set the torque split so all the power goes to the rear.

It would also be possible to make the button force shift the car into 1st gear for the duration. Sort of like tiptronic paddle on steering wheel. So you have maximum response while it's active. I haven't checked if it does that stock or not when in normal mode.

Also i know total power will be the same but with a Red Shift tuned Taycan Turbo (J1.1) with the increased throttle response enabled the driving modes made a massive difference to how the throttle reacted
Of course there is a massive difference because in normal it needs to downshift to first gear before you get the full power. Stock they give you more torque in 2nd gear and less torque in 1st gear to compensate for it. That's why after tuning and allowing the max torque all the time the difference is bigger.

can stuff like that be adjusted remotely after it’s installed?
Everything can be adjusted remotely, because we can reflash the controller remotely as many times as we want.
