The customer complains about the failure of various driver assistance systems and corresponding notes (white warning message) in the instrument cluster, for example:
• Assistance Systems currently reduced
• Lane Keep Assist currently not available
• Active Lane Keeping currently not available
• Speed limit display not available
• Proactive occupant protection currently reduced
• Warn and Brake Assist reduced
• Driving light control faulty
• Emergency Stop Function currently not available
After an ignition change, all systems are available again and the warning messages no longer occur. The following fault memory entry is passively stored in the fault memory of the control unit for driver assistance systems (ZFAS): • C12D5FA-Control unit for driver assistance systems, image processing processor does not react

A couple of times I’ve briefly had this kind of message when driving in fog/heavy rain/snow. They disappear after the weather changes/switching off & on. Temporary sensor blindness.

Me too, but no driving light or speed limit warnings. Then it started showing up in even moderate rain. Even though there was nothing obviously caked on the car, it was dirty (winter time, I haven't washed in many weeks). After washing the car, the errors no longer popped up. Perhaps the radars at least can be sensitive to even a thin layer of dirt when it comes in contact with water droplets?

I have this on my 2025. According to the TSB, it's likely C12B3FD.

Here's what I've noticed on mine, and why I'm posting to see if anyone else has the same issue. The notifications only happen when I'm directly facing the sun. It's habitual and predictable, and I'll rotate through the notifications every time. I even tried a piece of window tint over the front camera, and it helped a little, but not enough to make a difference. So.. I'm good as long as I don't dive in the sunlight....

I have a 2025 4S and this happens to me almost every day in the early morning or late afternoon sun. It's kind of annoying because it beeps each time - I wish there was a way to turn the notification sound off. I had a 2020 4S which did not have this problem so go figure. My wife's Hyundai handles the sun glare fine and maintains ACC and driver assist functions.
