That PSCB was mandatory with Mission E wheels tells all. They’re a cosmetic option. The shine wears off.

I have PCCB with my Mission-Es.
My understanding is that PSCB was a minimum with Mission E.
Do PCCB have similar manufacturing unreliability?

No.

PCCB is far from new tech also.

PCSB is a minimum requirment with Mission E just because porsche says so; there is no actual hardware incomptaibility between iron disks and mission E wheels.
Porsche won't fit you mission E on iron discs, but you can buy them and fit them yourself.

As @chun says I'm not aware of any unreliability with PCCB. I like the reduced unsprung weight (though I'm not a good enough driver to really feel the difference) and that I don't get any brake dust on the wheels. What I'm not looking forward to is paying to have them replaced - I hope (pray?) that they last as long as the car 🤔.

Anyone found front replacement iron rotors?

My pscb are peeling coating from rotor and underneath iron is significqntly showing. Though no braking issue for now .

I am thinking how to resolve problem on long term without buiying same rotors with same problem. Anyone with some expertise or common sense could propose solution? Smaller rotors are not option due 21 wheel size and brake caliper.

Any suggestions would be helpfull for many future PSCB owners.

There are same size iron discs on Panamera 971-2, but I don't know if they fit 1:1 or not. The thickness and diameter is the same, but there could be other differences such as the width of the disc itself not matching the PSCB caliper and so on. Only way is to get them and lay them side by side.

That looks pretty bad. Whats the recommended solution? Customer or Porsche paying for it?
Customer in all cases.

It's considered use and tear.

It's a bit scummy, as they are supposed to have a much longer lifetime.

I am really not a fan of PSCBs. They are just too expensive for a wear item.

I’m on a fresh set but when they die I will seriously look into the cost of “downgrading” to steel brakes.

Does anyone have PSCB and is happy with them? Seems like they're nothing but (expensive) trouble.

Everyone is happy with them until they need to replace them because of the delamination issues.
