If you just picked up the car from Porsche after battery repair they did an awful job. The battery should be properly balanced before returning car to customer and this one is not. I guess range isn't brilliant!

I just bought the car second hand! For context: it hadn’t moved for 1 month, the charged it to 100% for me, showed 400km at 100%, I drove 70km, left it outside in 0degrees and ran this test. Should I drive it and then test again ? Or should I try the rebalancing procedure ? Thanks !

Angeblich arbeitet das Balancing nur bis 30 % SOC. Über das Tesla BMS gibt es schon sehr viele Informationen und echte Erfahrungswerte.
Bei meinem Porsche Taycan wurde vor 9 Monaten ein Batterie Modul erneuert.
Ich konnte das Modul durch Carscanner verifizieren. Das eine Modul hat einen permanenten SOC +2%. Im unteren SOC 1-2% des Akkus bis zu +4% des Moduls.
Jetzt nach 25Tkm sehe ich eine minimale Verbesserung. Bei meinem damaligen Tesla Model S75 wurde auch Mal 1 neues Modul eingebaut. Ich konnte beobachten, dass das Tesla BMS das ein Modul mit erhöhter Spannung permanent um den gleichen Spannungswert abgesenkt hatte.
Nach 1 Jahr hatte sich das neue Modul des Tesla sehr gut an die restlichen Module angepasst. Auch bei sehr niedrigem SOC erkennbar.

Isolation is good and balance is much better after driving so not much to worry I guess

Extremely healthy battery. There is no doubt whatsoever that your battery shows no symptoms of ARB6/WRS1.

How do you know that from the view we're seeing? (nevermind, I read in later posts on page 4) I just got the car (2022), a cable and your app and I'm going through this entire 49 page thread to learn. This is awesome!

It hasnt picked up anything. The tool is heavily obfuscated to protect my work and IP from copycats.

Obviously some antivirus dont like obfuscated softwares because they cant read them at all abd many virus are obfuscated too because the hackers know an obfuscated program cant be read/analyzed by AV.

So false positives occur on obfuscated software but that’s the way it is. I need to protect my work otherwise someone will copy it in no time for sure!

That’s all it is.

I'm new to this forum and wanted to know if you have written anywhere about your history with this car and how you learned about its inner workings?

Yes, ok, but I'm more interested in his personal knowledge or experience with the Taycan. There are lots of garages full of people who fix cars, but this guy seems to have a much more intimate knowledge of the Taycan's inner workings, code base, security, etc. I would like to read about that personal history. He sounds more like one of the factory engineers than a shop owner.

Finally got around to trying a different laptop and having the same issue. You mentioned it could be the Enet, but I'm getting a green status indication from the software for Enet and it's reading my VIN. Is it still possible for it to be a problem with the Enet? The car has also been in for service since the last time I used the software. Is it possible they blocked it somehow? My other OBD reader is still working that I use for ABRP without issue.

Chris sent me a recall report because I wanted to know what they did to address the ongoing navigation issues. I noticed multiple lines of 'repairs' on January 27th. My dealer logged HV battery imbalance, but they didn’t inform me about it. I have Chris’s application to perform a battery health check myself, but I didn’t find anything unusual. No real imbalance on a cold battery at 70% SoC. Could you please explain what this recall/repair report item means?
