For the deal on a leftover 2025, you guys think I can do better?
it’s a very good price for a TurboS with the right options. My only changes would be a steel roof and rear wheel steering but that’s personal. You are going to love the car and not see many others on the road. So why not keep it and drive it for many years. Don’t worry about the depreciation…..it will be a lot more fun than putting the money into the stock market.

I love the configuration. Mine is pretty much the same (just do not have the variable roof but have rear wheel steering), and totally love the drive. Burmeister sounds awesome, especially as the car is pretty quiet. $175 is good for a brand new 2025. Depreciation is steep, but you will enjoy the car for sure.

I just did what you are doing--sort of. Watched the J2s in Turbo S and Turbo GT for about a year to see the trends on pricing, velocity of sales, etc. Ended up getting lucky with a 12K mile Turbo GT, with zero dealer visits needed in its first year, pop up in my home market, so I pounced. That was 179K for a well optioned purple sky metallic GT--i had thought I would end up with one of the oak green Turbo S's, as there are just so many of those leftovers on the market, but alas, Purple Monster came up for adoption in my backyard and I fell in love.

Those oak green leftovers seem to not be well loved by the market, though they are all well optioned--there must be 20 of them in USA +/- with exactly the same spec. Those seem to sell when they get to 160K. I love that color but the market seems not to.

The non green ones, there aren't a lot of them, seem to move more quickly and clear more in the 170K range--right where you're at.

Just some input from a person who was on the same journey you are on, looking at the same math.

We will hold this car for a very long time--is the plan, so residuals for us, not too important. Its just a timeless design and i think we've reached terminal velocity on power/performance, so that probably will not be an obsoleting factor for these cars (the top trim levels at least).

Lets see!

there's an oak green one now for asking of 159K--the usual optioning for that cadre. then there are many in the 160s but they tend not to have burmeester, so looking at your sticker i think thats a good/on market deal you are contemplating. if its close and no shipping needed, then thats a deal I would do

If I recall correctly, the original oak green Taycans delivered to dealers as "Porsche spec" (not customer or dealer spec) were missing PAR. That, rather than color preference, may be why they are not selling well.

the many that i see in the market have active ride--the Turbo S ones in oak green. Indeed there are many gray Turbo's that don't have PAR or CC brakes.

I just got a “used“ 2025 CT4S for about 25% off including 3 years of CPO. 159 sticker and I paid 119. It has about 1,000 miles on it and was in the loaner fleet.

A couple weeks ago I did something very similar to this thread. For some reason a local dealership had four 2025 chalk turbo models with identical options. It had all the options I was looking for so was happy to make them an offer of 50k off the just under $200k sticker. All of these had no prior owner and less than 100 miles (so qualifies for a new car loan rate from my bank despite being the prior model year). I'm still not sure why they have so many of the exact build, but it is a very nice build with lots of turbonite features and I happily drove one off the lot after MY21 trade in.

I'm sure there is a lot of fans of the chalk color out there, but that's just not me so I'm having it wrapped next week. Look forward to seeing it in a metallic lighter blue not offered by Porsche.
