Yes, but although I like my Porsche, I’m also dissatisfied with it compared to the Chinese cars at 30% of the price.But is it really motor and batteries that hold the car back? I think there is many other systems that they should import before that.
Personally, I find the Taycans suspension and handling engineering excellent but the part that makes it an electric car is sadly way behind the Chinese. That’s where they should buy someone else’s solution for the challenges of making the car “go” vs “how it feels” which Porsche should “own”
It would be sad but I guess it's possible. As someone that would never buy and ICE car as a daily driver again it would effectively rule out buying another Porsche![]()
