I’m not used to ordering something based on a projected schedule and having the delivery date(s) changed a half dozen times. Still, as I said…. In this current climate it is what it is

You are not the only Porsche owner facing delivery delays; there is a global component shortage.

Seems like my card which had completed production, in July shipped to the UK this weekend. Dealer thinks I would have arrived at Sheerness, but I can't see any carriers from Emden to Sheerness, only to Grimsby. Anyone else expected a car to land in the UK this weekend past?

So even tho my car hasn't been marked as 'Completed Production' yet, they do confirm it is being prepared for transport to the Emden Port on TYD

Does the circle before that one look like mine below? I the the CP8.0 is the final inspection before it ships.

11 days until dealer arrival ? That's sweet ! My CT4S production was completed 2 months ago and I have to wait another 2 months (mid november)

Yes. I believe your car is complete and is ready to ship. You had said you did not think it completed production. That screen is what I had when my car complete production and the next day was transported to Emden. At that time, everything was moving quickly and exactly according to TYD. Once it got to Emden, things slowed. The ship was in port for 10 days, but when it left, TYD was accurate all the way to the port in Jacksonville. Then it updated to 5 weeks later for delivery and has not moved since 8/16

My car has been in Canada for 5 weeks. No one can tell me where it is or when I will get it. Or how long I'll have to wait for parts to actually finish building the car. I would never be able to pass this type of bs to my clients. If I take a job and commit to finishing it within a certain timeframe I have to do it or there will be consequences. Porsche should stop taking orders if they can't meet objectives. I suppose I also need to grow up.

I don't think my screencap says anywhere 11 days until dealer arrival. I wish.

The car is being loaded to transport to port in Emden and I live in the United States.

11 days is impossible.

I don't have a solution but I don't oversell something that is outside of my control. It's also not my job to solve Porsche's problems. I would at least do everything I could to have good communication with my customers to help mitigate their frustrations. I know I expect too much.

Confirmation from my dealer that my est 11/05/2021 delivery car entered production over the weekend...two weeks early.

He doesn't think that the two weeks will be made up because as of right now, they've received two cars (one CT and one RWD) waiting for TPM control modules.
