Prius… Italian job. Wait. I actually like the Prius styling a bit more IF I had to choose. I’m convinced these companies don’t beta test the styling with focus groups. There soo much secrecy and camouflage pre production. Love EV evolution but this is not it. Second company to strike out on...
It’s the rear for me that looks a bad design. The front is very AMG. Grill looks a bit Aston Martin, but not too bad. It’s just missing the elegance of the price tag.
And for the rear plastic bits on Taycan and MB, it’s why I choose the carbon kits to help reduce that, otherwise it’s easy to...
I don’t know if I’m in a small minority but one of the things I like about EV’s is the silence or relative silence. It makes my commuting very peaceful and I’ll just listen to the Burmaster or whatever I’m playing through the speakers.
this is purely subjective, of course, but I look at this...
Awesome tech per usual. Interior is horrid and exterior even worse. Maybe because I’m older I need a bit of sophistication and I’m upset with the looks. The old GT 4 door was one of the best looking vehicles around. I have the AMG GT coupe( suv) and love an AMG. Despite knowing this was coming...
Anything auto related with the word China gives me little reason to read. I’d never get the time back reading about what our US govt would never let happen in the auto industry. The day Chinese auto comes into US, is the day any and every current auto maker ends up going out of business, along...
Answer is: The sloping roofline. Anytime a company and especially Germans use the fastback coupe style look vs. the standard model, they name it this. It can somehow have a hatchback lift vs. a regular trunk/boot. Give it’s a more aggressive stance. It’s typically more than the regular suv, that...
I have this weird theory, that you either pay now or pay later! If I put myself in your shoes, with the kids in college factor… I’d wait until they are done or at least a few years until my car gave me a reason to upgrade. If college cost later are already accounted for and things are looking...
👍🏾 This is why I specifically spec’d only the steel brakes. Cheers to the forum for talking me out of anything else. The brake dust is never so bad on these cars especially with the lack of use and regen.
For the dust… that’s why I pay for auto car wash subscription with unlimited use!
The Taycan will be my new primary and daily driver, but I’m gonna hold onto my ice SUV and motorcycles. I think the next car I get to join the fleet it’s gonna be a 1958 Corvette just something that fits a completely different niche. My goal is to have all vehicles with completely different...
I don’t think I can be any help with this one. I can’t remember the last time I wore jeans!
But I do have a handheld steamer for general usage. I’ve used it on leather and carpet before. Perfect for car use as it has attachments that come to a fine point vs just a wide end. I’d hope in theory...
Price increases always get passed down one way or another. Hence the gas price increase as of now. As far as dealerships, they get passed down via less incentives and simply inflation.
Ahh the joys of life. 3% is about the US cost of living increase each year. Too bad, none of that delta year...
As if anything ever really goes down!? As an aside my MB coupe just went over $100 for the weekly fill up. Never before seen prices. June can’t come soon enough. Get your Taycans /ev’s NOW. 25% pending tariff increase is absolutely insane…not to mention the demand is rising too. $$$$$$
I second what the guys above said. Hope on that quick. Can wrap, PPF it to any spectrum in the rainbow if it truly bothers ya. Can never go wrong with classic white, as it’s in the same color hue as the other option anyway, vs. being far different.
Hope it works out for ya. No regrets!
Great to hear. I’ll keep this in mind. I know another finance director in the Taycan @kelliporsche is one to watch as well. I’ll reach out to them both once I get my vin # in May
