22KW OBC FAILURE INSIGHT & POSSIBLE SOLUTION

He was pulling your leg lmao? PIWIS completely supports Macan and you can do everything with it. Not to mention that ODIS in Macan EV would be good only for reading fault codes and deleting them. Coding flashing and anything which involves FAZIT server use would fail, given that Audi's FAZIT...

22KW OBC FAILURE INSIGHT & POSSIBLE SOLUTION

This is a myth. Audi tech uses ODIS to diagnose E-Tron. And Porsche tech still uses PIWIS to diagnose Macan EV lmao... where'd you hear this?

[FREE] tCAN-Pro - TAYCAN BATTERY DIAGNOSIS FOR THE COMMUNITY

How about in the fact that Apple's flagship laptop CPU (M5 Max), with limited power from a battery.... DESTROYS by more than 30% Intel's and AMD's latest desktop flagship chips with UNLIMITED power... For me that's the deal breaker.

EV Battery Fire Causes 100 cars to be burned at a scrap yard

To expand my previous post. This article by the United States FEMA states: https://www.usfa.fema.gov/blog/urgent-safety-advisory-on-hazards-involving-fire-blankets-for-electric-vehicle-fire-suppression/ "During experiments, EV fire blankets were used to suppress an EV fire with battery...

EV Battery Fire Causes 100 cars to be burned at a scrap yard

Yes this is the keypoint, I think the blankets in your videos are about 1 generation behind what's being used currently in this part of the world. The blankets in the videos arent even fiber glass blankets... The point of the blanket is to not let flames through, smoke is bad but nowhere near...

EV Battery Fire Causes 100 cars to be burned at a scrap yard

The explosion is a steam explosion caused by the unbelievable amount of water they threw at it Notice how Chinese firefighters (clearly more experienced in EV fires) never throw much water at it and train to do so? The EV fire blanket instructions say it very clearly, once the fire blanket...

EV Battery Fire Causes 100 cars to be burned at a scrap yard

You usually put the blanket on before the car is on fire. IE, when it's quarantined. For example yesterday we had a Taycan slid to the shop which took a hit to the battery over a bump and the red battery light showed for a few hours and was undrivable for a few hours. Likely it's nothing, but...

EV Battery Fire Causes 100 cars to be burned at a scrap yard

Good luck using a tiny extinguisher to put out a battery fire. Once a battery fire starts you wont be able to extinguish it until all the chemicals in the battery have burned out. The best chance is to contain it by using an EV fire blanket. We have many of them at the shop and often cover...
