EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues [Solved with PCM v3892]

Just had the update completed this morning. Took about 4 hours in total. The nav now seems to be working way better. The route planner actually works finally. It's no longer shutting down every 10-20 mins. Also the route planner gives you a few more options when planning your route if you select...

How can a car with 10k miles be creaking like this?!

I must admit I'm surprised at the number of minor issues in the first 6 months of ownership (luckily all covered under Porsche warranty). I've owned BMWs, Audis, Land Rovers, Volkswagens, even a Tesla and non have rattled and squeaked like this car has. Admittedly the Discovery fell to pieces...

How can a car with 10k miles be creaking like this?!

Creaking came back again ! Porsche replaced the two rear boot struts and the problem seems to have gone away. Posted this as it may help somebody in the future with the same issue.

EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues [Solved with PCM v3892]

Hi F1Ruaraidh. Do you know how long the update took to install, please? My CT4S is booked in for Monday. I may have to wait around whilst they do the update. Would be good to know how long it takes. Has the update solved the issue of the sat nav shutting down when your using the PCM nav and...

    Purchasing my First Tayacn

I bought a 2023 used CT4S with a massive spec, more than I would have ordered from new, but it was a great price with very low mileage, and had the all important option of 'prep for rear bike carrier' that I needed (plus it also came with the OEM bike carrier too!). Having lived with the car...

How can a car with 10k miles be creaking like this?!

@prj - Well that worked a treat! I adjusted the boot catches as you suggested and they seem to have made a big difference. I also added some grease to the boot latch too and it seems to have solved the issue completely. No more creaks. So thank you for taking the time to do that. Very much...

How can a car with 10k miles be creaking like this?!

Thank you all for the advice and input. Much appreciated. I'll try the bag hooks as suggested above. However, I cannot pinpoint exactly what is causing the noise. The boot is empty, and there is no parcel shelf either, so I'm out of ideas. It's now booked in with Porsche for them to inspect it...

How can a car with 10k miles be creaking like this?!

Thanks for the quick response. The boot is completely empty as is the back seat etc. The noise is 100% coming from the rear. Sounds like it is in the boot. Certainly not seat springs. Seems to be worse over uneven road. The video doesn’t do it justice, it’s louder in reality. Listen to the...

How can a car with 10k miles be creaking like this?!

Hi. New member here. Been reading the forum before deciding to take the plunge. Full of great info and it helped me decide to buy a used Taycn CT 4S. Found an amazing spec car from Porsche, Guildford. They were superb to deal with, and I love the car. Glad I bought from Porsche, car comes with a...
