Let me tell you my experience. I got a CPO 2024 4S in Dec 2025, with 8k miles and warranty coverage until 2030. I plan to extend my CPO for 2 more years until 2032 to match the battery warranty, and I’m hoping by then there is a warranty that covers it post 8y/100k miles.

Does the rearview mirror not provide sufficient power for the dashcam or do you not want to tap it? I just had the dealership install a radar detector through there and they told me they could do the same for a dashcam.
Since this doesn’t happen unless conditions are correct (don’t know that I’ve ever driven it the way you said to recreate it), do you recommend doing this testing annually?
