I applied a tinted PPF on the outside. My goals were to protect the glass roof from stone chips, and to also shade a bit as I have a newborn. I bought the pre-cut PPF from AliExpress and had it installed locally. The local installer said it was good quality (positive surprise as it was fairly...
It went back to Porsche to fix the same issue (windows getting stuck) for the 3rd time before a second charge. I'll know when I get my car back soon and charge the car again.
I had the same thing happen. I was consistently charging at 85%. The car PCM was reset by the dealer to handle some non-responsivity. Now even though it is set at 85% like before, it charges to 100%. Weird.
You're describing the procedure for a cell rebalance. Recommended periodically for EVs - I believe the context is that cells get out of balance as they get older, and that cumulatively, the set up reduces State of Health (SoH) and perhaps possible range. Someone more informed will explain it...
I second this. I have had 2 cars totaled (neither my fault, and they were older cars), but in each case, insurance lowballed me. I learned to ask what their comparables were, and they had chosen lower trims, with low specs, higher miles, etc. to build their value. I fought for myself, pointing...
A couple more positives for the Macan. The use of the interior LED lights is smart.
It lights up green when charging.
When driving and switching lanes, if there's a vehicle in the space, the lights on that side will flash red.
I don't remember all, but there were some other color...
Strange - my Macan experiences do not match up with yours. I drove it on the highway for several hours (road trip) on 2 separate loaner periods. I drove into the sun (west into the highway), used ACC without issues, and had absolutely no wind noise etc.
The PCM was much better than my J1.1...
It totally is. Weird because I had this loaner before without issues. And it's not reported anywhere else. I'm actually glad to hear someone else had it, feel less nuts 😂
Something about the charging is obviously setting off the monitoring alarm.
I too have had a Macan EV loaner twice now while the Taycan is getting work done.
@freinando I too had the panic alarm go off every 15 min or so while charging this week .... I tried it at multiple chargers, on different days, slammed every door shut repeatedly, turned off interior monitoring...
Thank you. I get that math. I think I need to pay attention to "current efficiency" as I drive. This simple math will help.
I will return the data favor with data. I added the implied usable per your math.

Just finally got a moment and did it.... and everything looks good to me.....
Images attached from tCanPro and CarScanner attached...
Does anyone see anything amiss?
Maybe it was just my spirited driving on the highway...

Thank you for the response. I had read that too (sudden range drop = impending failure) and just wanted to see if others had lived through it...
202 miles estimated at 74 degrees F seems very low... from what I've been reading for the past year. That translates to only about 180 miles real...
