I am jealous. I just reached out to porsche NA for my25 a second time after 4 months and they said not possible to add FOD for these options despite earlier model years having access. Major disappointment, especially considering even to this day they still have the FOD page posted on their website.
you think worth a shot for a my25 to try? I bought speccing with ACC but not innodrive/alk because assumed it would be a FOD option. I called porsche NA a few months back and they were clueless. Dealer likewise in the dark.
quite disappointing. I never heard of peeling back tech in this day...
here is a message that contradicts this. Tell me more about the dealer being able to do an update? Curious if this is a guess or from something concrete.
You don’t have a my25 do you? The my25 connect store is different than the prior model years. I have no FOD alk/innodrive available on mine (and am in a my25).
Yea FOD isn’t available for 2025s yet and may never be. I regret not getting ALK/innodrive bc of this. (Did get ACC). A car of this calibre without lane centering has an obvious feature hole.
that’s not what my eyes are on, as that’s already a given - it is the point that there is no difference in max power for LC vs no LC for rwd, yet there is a difference for all other models.
Holding that we are just looking at ‘25.
This graph says LC gains are achieved entirely by means other...
I mean maybe there is no overperformance here, accounting for reaction time lags that might need to be imposed from start of the run to the end of sample period, especially on the manual. Human reaction time about 250ms.
The app may be leaving out the beginning of the sample where we wait for...
You should do that and report back, if not an error, an explanation.
i am just naturally skeptical there is either an error or they really want to upsell performance gains from non-rwd models.
Yes I see exactly that, but it is entirely inconsistent with respect to the rest of the lineup, in that LC vs no LC has no difference in peak power for PBP for rwd. I suspect a possible error barring another explanation…
