I would connect it and then get about 10-20 minutes into any journey and it would say it was disconnected.
I reconnected it day before yesterday and have had no disconnects since.
It seems odd that no signal would be the issue, but I guess it’s perfectly possible. Perhaps they do talk to each...
My car (25 RWD Sport Turismo) is in at Porsche and the courtesy car (same as mine, but saloon) has different coloured themes for Normal, Sport and Sport Plus modes when the “minimal” mode (Speedo only) is selected in the cluster. These are scenic images - sky, mountains, in an abstract sort of...
I'm on 26.3 and this issue remains. Constantly having to sync it back again from the Porsche App. Occasionally it disconnects and reconnects, but mostly it disconnects and doesn't work again until goes through the set up again.
If this happens again, try going to the "Profile" tab (last one on the right at the bottom of the app) and logging in from the screen. The main "Car" tab (middle one) seems to have a bug that means you sometimes can't log in there and it gets stuck "Loading...".
I'd be interested in hearing experience anyone has of the 1.2 RWD in terms of performance and also, drivability. The numbers are huge to be putting through just the rears.
OK, much deleting and trying again... short answer, in iPhone Settings > Maps > EV Routing > Turn Off and then back on again the My Porsche extension. This seemed to reset whatever connection was (not) happening between the Porsche and Apple Maps apps.
I now can’t get EV Maps to work at all. Having reset and disconnected, it now won’t reconnect. The Taycan never appears in “Vehicles” screen in Apple Maps having clicked “Open Apple Maps” in the Porsche app. Have removed the phone from Bluetooth, CarPlay, logged out of PCM. Nothing works. Ffs.
I lived with Apple Maps being disconnected from the Q4, so it’s not hugely problematic and the built in nav is perfectly fine - with the adding bonus of preheating the battery when charging is needed. I don’t do huge long journeys very often, so the integration isn’t crucial.
It’s...
New here. It took a week for Porsche to sort out Connect on our (new to us) 25 Taycan.
What’s happening for me is that I follow the steps and initially, everything works. But after a couple of hours (max), Apple Maps reports that it has lost the connection to the car, and everything will be an...
