My J1.1 Taycan doesn’t manage much more than 2.4 miles/kW so 3 miles/kW for J1.2 sounds much better and represents 25% improvement. What do you J1.1 owners typically get ?

I have had the new Andersen A3 charge point since October 2025 and it’s been working fine. The installation was very professional so happy so far. Let’s hope for no reliability issues…

I recently purchased an Andersen EV charger and the installation was straight forward and professional. They make a big statement of their 7-year warranty however in case they have financial issues this is indeed a worry

Porsche Cambridge also provided me with the battery SoH so keep asking & don’t purchase without it

Correct if buying from a Porsche centre, you get a minimum of 2 years.

The Porsche dealer updated the software for the on board charger and this solved the issue.

Good luck on your search. Just set a search on the official Porsche website and contact your local dealerships with your ideal car Personally I’d drop the 150kW booster for the surround view & sport chrono. I got my Taycan just a few weeks ago and glad it has got it.

It was 4% of advertised price so not huge discount to be honest. For search, I used the Porsche website, PistonHeads & AutoTrader

I got £2k off an OPC but finally went with an independent dealer on a Taycan which still had 1Y warranty (therefore can be extended with Porsche) and all the recalls done under warranty. Hope that helps

Thanks Dabz, Björn, Anonymouse & all for your feedback. I’ve also checked the routes on ChargeMap and this looks all good without the 150kW DC booster option on the J1. I’ll let you know how I get on if I get that car. Thanks again
