UPDATE! It's now working. I pressed the voice button on the steering wheel and a whole new way of connecting to carplay opened. Still had to press a few buttons and it works. Now, whether it works when i start the car again is another question.... Thanks to everyone who offered advice.

My first issues when I bought the car was helped by ignoring the octoplus and Andersen scheduling and sticking with the Porsche stuff. Maybe seems the new app is more tolerant of outside agents taking care of charging. I think I'll try your idea next time I'm charging. Thanks for the reply.

I have the same car , same year and encounter plenty of speed bumps. Have never noticed any unusual thuds, soft, hard or otherwise. Get it booked in. It's an easy enough thing to check on a test drive, and wise to do so sooner rather than later.

I've seen the schedule that IOG sets out. I have a feeling that it conflicts with the porsche app. The thing is, the car has to ask for the charge. I'll have to mess about with it when i don't have to go anywhere the next morning.
