UPDATE!
It's now working.
I pressed the voice button on the steering wheel and a whole new way of connecting to carplay opened.
Still had to press a few buttons and it works.
Now, whether it works when i start the car again is another question....
Thanks to everyone who offered advice.

I am currently experiencing the same thing. No phone / carPlay starting yesterday. I didn't install an update, it just stopped working.
I've had constant connectivity problems with this car in just about 2-yrs of ownership. Car has no connection...
Did all that. In different sequences. Having been brought up with Macs, it's what you do i guess. Nothing seems to work. I was hoping that someone had a similar problem with the update and was a "known" problem. Even drive the car to a place away from home that has better reception. My house is...
My iphone won't connect wirelessly to my 2025 ct4s.
There was sn update that i allowed on the car today. No idea what it was. Must have come out over the past 8 days.
Won't connect to my wifes iphone either.
It does recognise both phones but struggles to complete.
Meanwhile my iphone says I am...
My first issues when I bought the car was helped by ignoring the octoplus and Andersen scheduling and sticking with the Porsche stuff. Maybe seems the new app is more tolerant of outside agents taking care of charging.
I think I'll try your idea next time I'm charging. Thanks for the reply.
Had charging issues when i first got the car. The forum helped.
All had been well until my car was in for a couple of weeks with the boot not opening and a suspension fault. All sorted.
But... since I got it back, trying to charge the car is a nightmare. I'm getting spurious departure times...
Sold my 992 after 18 months for similar reason. Ie wife was still busy and working, not enough room for my 2 boys. It was a second car plurely for pleasure, and there was no pleasure driving it on my own.
Once i fully retired, i traded my range rover gor a ct 4s.
No regrets.
None.
Can take all...
I have the same car , same year and encounter plenty of speed bumps. Have never noticed any unusual thuds, soft, hard or otherwise. Get it booked in. It's an easy enough thing to check on a test drive, and wise to do so sooner rather than later.
Octopus wouldn't accept my wife's macan whilst my taycan was on. It didn't seem to matter when i plugged it in with the taycan's profile and charged her car with it using the porsche app. She did get an erroneous schedule appearing in her app.
i remember going through all this kinda stuff when...
I've seen the schedule that IOG sets out. I have a feeling that it conflicts with the porsche app. The thing is, the car has to ask for the charge. I'll have to mess about with it when i don't have to go anywhere the next morning.
hi, i have OIG, but it has the exact schedule. My Andersen wall unit has no schedule. This morning, charge has been paused before it got to 100% , and lo and behold, there's a new random schedule on my porsche app.
Note that the new schedule has been toggled on, and my 5.30 schedule has been...
7 weeks into ownership of 2025 CT 4S ex demo. So far so good, except...
1.Random departure times are appearing on my app, and it's messing with the schedule that a fellow forum guru helped me set up.
Tonight i had to toggle off this random dep time and toggle on my set dep time twice. Eventually...
I was in the same boat in July. My flexibility is actually improving as i get used to it. Having previously been driving range rovers for 30 years, it's gone from one small step for this man, to one giant leap up. I feel your pain!
