The car has been in areas of good connectivity for days but still showed the "active process" message. I did the 2 finger engineering menu reboot this morning and it let me try the install again. When I left it it appeared to be installing...
I tried to update this a couple of times but it seemed to fail as both my home parking garage and work parking garage have very poor signal.
I keep getting a notification that the update is available but when I click on it I now get "Function not possible due to an active process" - any ideas?
The same yesterday - one charged me to 40% then threw a fault screen, 3 others wouldn't even start charging.
And don't get me started on the appalling sign posting at these services, as far as I can tell you have to drive through the petrol pumps to get to the parking area then out of that area...
It most definitely does need washing - on my way down to Paris in September (not a hint of snow!) but a lot of rain and spray, the innodrive stopped working with a message that the sensor needed cleaning. Very annoying as that's when I needed it most. Pulled off, found the sensor - who puts a...
For what it's worth, I asked for the SOH before buying my car. The Porsche dealership reported 91%. +/- 5% I wasn't impressed but the car was otherwise perfect and the salesman asked why I was worried, it has an 8 year warranty.
I bought the car, got it home and bought the kit for the...
But that's what a minimum is! If you tell it in the profile to charge between 0200 and 0700 as that example does, it will do just that, charge between 0200 and 0700 to whatever SOC it can achieve.
It's a needlessly complex system, but it is behaving as expected.
Is there a reference we can quote to our local Porsche dealer so we don't have to go through all of the faff of convincing them it's a problem, have them investigate it for a few days, try to pretend it's not a problem, etc etc?
But that's utterly stupid, road damage from weight is proportional to the weight raised to the power 4, so whilst the Taycan does more damage to the roads than the Cupra, it's the HGVs that really damage the roads.
If the damage done by the Cupra (say 1.3 tonnes over 2 axles) is a factor 1...
I like my GTS badge, it helps distinguish it from all of the 4Ss around here ;)
Back in the UK it was really common for the boys who could just scrape enough money together for a Beemer 318 to debadge them, so that tends to colour my outlook.
I have it on mine - first thing I did was program the ‘individual’ setting to be everything from sport plus except the ESS.
To me it sounds silly, like a 4 year going ‘brum brum’ as they push their toy cars around.
