It might be one of the air shocks being intermittent or a sensor as others have mentioned. I would have the dealer scan for error codes. Hopefully it is something simple. Good luck and tell us what the problem was.

It might be far fetched but there is warning tone generated by the trunk. Is the tone coming from inside the passenger compartment? Do you have a specific road location to make it happen? Have you driven the car with the dealer tech onboard to hear the sound? Tell us what you find.

I've had a similar issue. It turned out to be servo motor inside the heater assembly in the dashboard. The dashboard has to come out to perform the repair. Porsche extended the warranty on these servo motors in the US. Good luck.

Elsewhere on this site one of the members reports that the Top Don ARTi Diag800 BT2 will reset the Taycan service indicator.

My experience is the Service Required message can only be reset using the Porsche unique PIWIS laptop. I have paid for an inspection that includes reset of the Service Required message. I do my own work and show the receipts for the parts installed. There isn't much maintenance to do on this car.

The warranty cost me $3.9K from the dealer covering the car through 2030 and 75K miles. The main battery has its own warranty through 2028. The 12 volt battery is excluded from warranty coverage.

I just went through rear motor replacement on my 2020 4S, thankfully I had the after market warranty. About $24K. My car has 41K miles. The initial diagnosis was transmission issue.

My experience when my rear motor was failing was that the car threw many codes that showed up when I scanned the car with my Foxwell i70BT scanner. I got no error messages displayed. Let the dealer look at it if possible. I was glad I had bought the extended warranty. Good luck.
