The only issue I've heard of when using the non-N tires on our cars in the US is when you go to trade in your car at a Porsche dealer. They will reduce your trade in value by the cost of a replacement set of N rated tires. I've been getting my N rated tires at Discount Tire. They are closer to...
It might be one of the air shocks being intermittent or a sensor as others have mentioned. I would have the dealer scan for error codes. Hopefully it is something simple. Good luck and tell us what the problem was.
It might be far fetched but there is warning tone generated by the trunk. Is the tone coming from inside the passenger compartment? Do you have a specific road location to make it happen? Have you driven the car with the dealer tech onboard to hear the sound? Tell us what you find.
I lost 60 miles of range in one week. I kept track of the range after each charging session so I could show the dealer the degradation. It turned out to be some bad cells in the HV battery. I got a remanufactured HV battery. Good luck.
I bought an extended warranty for my 2020 4S in 2024 before the original warranty expired. I'm covered until 2030 or 75K miles. It cost $4K from my dealer. Late last year I had to have the rear motor replaced. The bill was $24K. I just paid a $250 deductible. The warranty extracts a healthy...
I've had a similar issue. It turned out to be servo motor inside the heater assembly in the dashboard. The dashboard has to come out to perform the repair. Porsche extended the warranty on these servo motors in the US. Good luck.
My experience is the Service Required message can only be reset using the Porsche unique PIWIS laptop. I have paid for an inspection that includes reset of the Service Required message. I do my own work and show the receipts for the parts installed. There isn't much maintenance to do on this car.
The warranty cost me $3.9K from the dealer covering the car through 2030 and 75K miles. The main battery has its own warranty through 2028. The 12 volt battery is excluded from warranty coverage.
I just went through rear motor replacement on my 2020 4S, thankfully I had the after market warranty. About $24K. My car has 41K miles. The initial diagnosis was transmission issue.
My experience when my rear motor was failing was that the car threw many codes that showed up when I scanned the car with my Foxwell i70BT scanner. I got no error messages displayed. Let the dealer look at it if possible. I was glad I had bought the extended warranty. Good luck.
I have a 2020 4 S with 41K miles and I purchased the extended warranty until 2030 or 75K miles. My car has numeros heater recalls and a remanufactured battery pack ( in 2024 ) plus many recalls. I recently got the car back from a rear motor replacement. $250 deductible for a repair that cost the...
