Just pads, I don’t even dare to think about how much PSCB discs would cost😉
About 40 000 km so there was probably not much wear on the pads. I agreed to change them since I did not want to go against Porsche’s recommendation to replace the PSCB pads after 6 years regardless of wear status.

Same here in Norway. When I handed in my 2020 Turbo this morning for the 6-year service, including change of PSCB brake pads, and asked for WTG1 I was told it may not be possible since Porsche Germany requires photo or video to give permission for that upgrade, but they said they would do their...
I experienced exactly the same issue on a roadtrip here in Norway a couple of weeks ago. Because of this hanging problem I drove passed an Ionity station and instead ran into very slow traffic on the motorway. Took me close to one hour before I finally arrived at the Ionity station I had entered...
Because that’s what Porsche promised me when I ordered my J1.1 Taycan Turbo. Updates and new features were a major concern for me as I new how fast EV technology progresses.
I was assured that this would not be a problem, yet here we are.
Looks like it has started. I live in Norway and got the recall mail a couple of days ago.
Starting to get really fed up now, it’s one thing after the other. I regret I went from 911 Carrera 4 GTS to Taycan in 2020:(
So much for EV’s containing few components and being virtually maintenance free.
Something tells me the Taycan will be very expensive to own after the warranty runs out.
I don’t know about losing the game in connected cars, but they will lose me and probably many other customers.
When I ordered the car, I was assured that all new software related functions and improvements would be available also to us early adopters. If that turns out to be a lie I’m done with...
I both hope and expect that no Porsche enthusiasts would even think about installing such a device.
I’m sure Porsche can easily find out and expose this type of fraud.
Well, just one more thing to be aware of and check for if buying a second hand car.
There is no such thing as an “emergency hood release on the a-pillar”. Unfortunately the only way to release the hood is by opening the fuse box and use jump leads, just like with newer 911’s.
Far as I know the plan is still 400 charging sites but I doubt they will reach that number by the end of this year. Though they have already passed 280 (currently 283 live or under construction) so maybe there is still some hope;)
Last week I did a 1500 km trip from Stavanger, Norway to...
The way I see it Porsche Charging Service is a total rip off when charging on anything other than Ionity chargers.
I had hope of not having to deal with umpteen different apps when charging away from home but no such luck. I refuse to pay exorbitant prices for the “convenience” of getting the...
