I built a privacy-first analytics dashboard for Taycan / Macan EV trip data

ah bummer. I don't subscribe as it's a bit of a waste of money ... the only thing I want it for is to do what literally every other EV does for free, show the state of charge % ... lol. never mind. app looks great though well done on making a cool tool. always love innovative stuff like this

What’s your daily settings -- drive mode, chassis, ride height, recuperation?

wow, i did not know about the camber issue, i wish i did. I just had my car fail its MOT because the fronts were excessively worn on the inside (despite having about 4mm left on them!). I drive nearly exclusively in the lowered mode (because it frankly looks better... difference between a...

[FREE] tCAN-Pro - TAYCAN BATTERY DIAGNOSIS FOR THE COMMUNITY

sounds like it isn't worth bothering with then if you need to have other updates for the other systems done via piwis which I assume is impossible without some kind of garage who has Porsche access willing to do them . so the main benefit (for me) of having the directions from Android...

    UK service & costs

when i called sytner it was a "central" call center and they did bookings for a bunch of sytners. I asked if they were all the same price and he said yes. so, who knows whats going on. half tempted to just get it "serviced" by my local ICE independent (he does EV's too, but i use them for...

Worth getting Connect for a month (every year or two)?

not that it matters to me, but it still does do the "parked location" of the car i thought. (not a full on tracker). i bought a cheap gprs based gps tracker thats hardwired in with a £5 a year data sim card which provides much more than the porsche service does. charging infrastructure...

Worth getting Connect for a month (every year or two)?

Hi all, I see that Connect have changed from a yearly £290 to a £23/month subscription. I don't have a sub as I bought the car in March and it was already just outside of the 3 year free connect subscription. I didn't really have much of a need to buy connect as i have my own tracker and i...

I have somewhere an hidden Donkey in my car

As I understand it, this is by design. Porsche wish to punish people who drive in sandals.

"Why Electric Porsches Will Never Make Sense" - video

Could only stomach about a third of that video, what a load of pearl clutching, elitist rubbish. Of COURSE ICE Porsches make more sense and are amazing vehicles. I'd love one again. But lets be honest, the world (except for Trumps America) knows that ICE is bad and all manufacturers are...

Lastest PCM/MY2025 cars - Is it both Carplay AND Android AUTO in the dashboard?

yeah someone else pointed that out. but it does allow for the directions to show on the right side of the dash and in the HUD , which is still desirable
