Can't speak to Taycan feel, but I loved to DWS06s on my BMW M550i. Now that they're available, those will be in my short list for tires for the Taycan.
If there's a decent discount off of a clean title MMR, I'd say go for it. I'm in a 22 CT4S that I picked up about 5 months ago. Other than it had to have almost all of the recall work done, I haven't had any major issues (yet). I would recommend spending a few hundred bucks and getting a PPI at...
Here you go. Not hardwired in. I just bought a 50A welder extension cord and a NEMA 16-50R to NEMA 6-20P adapter and plugged it into the outlet I have for my table saw. That's why you see the cable on the ground, running under my garage door.
My original plan was to mount it to the end joist of...
On the mounting option - I'm in a situation right now where I didn't want to permanently mount my EVSE (not the PMCC, but anyway) to the house. So, I ended up getting a fence post from the hardware store (aka, Lowe's) for about $16. Set that in the ground, and mounted the EVSE to that. More...
No, it doesn't. I recently purchased a '22 CT4S that was listed as a Dealer Buyback, and it hadn't even had its first service completed. Took it in to my local dealer and had most of the recalls and first service performed, all fully covered.
Granted, I haven't had specific warranty work...
What I did on my last car (2018 BMW M550) was have a dedicated set of wheels with A/S tires and a set with summer. I'd just keep them in my garage and swap myself early winter and early spring. That said, it did get a little tedious after a few years, so I ended up just leaving the A/S tires on...
Thanks, everyone for your inputs. I went to document this last night/this morning, and naturally I woke up to the same SoC (45%) as I parked it yesterday afternoon. Oddly, though, my timer didn't run this morning.
What I'm wondering is if my disabled timers actually ran over Christmas break...
In SoC overnight, it is a percentage drop. As in, I park at home with 80% charge, but when I leave for work in the morning it's at 71-72%.
The mileage example was one that just stuck in my mind. I'd planned to stop at a DC fast charger before teaching class the other night, but there was a line...
Hi all: New '22 CT4S owner here. One thing that I've noticed is that the battery will drain while sitting. Overnight it can drop by anywhere from 5-10%. The other day, sitting for 2 hours, I lost 10 miles - got to a destination with 51 miles of range remaining, about 3 hours later I left for...
Could you ask the Porsche dealer for a tow company reference that could handle the Taycan? Surely they've used someone in the past that can handle the car.
Good luck!
And their first "Rechargery" is about a few miles up the road from me. Can't wait to check it out when it opens.
Side note - I think I was driving by the Rechargery when State of Charge was filming there :-)
