none are NF0 and NF1 are they? the porsche rated tires are suppose to be different and better, and there are many youtube videos that show that.

NF0: they are the new max summer sport for both the Taycan and 911 (that is an assumption... there were many at the dealer with them fitted).

right, i actually have them on my Turbo S and they are very disappointing, what i wanted to point out is that the test doesn't use the NF0 tires, they use the generic tires that are not the same at all.

I actually have the regular PZ4 but the latest NF1 rated, the R comes with the Turbo GT they are very stiff comparing to Goodyears (both nf0 and nf1) even the Continental NF0

I went with the Goodyear Asymmetric 5 NF1 and I think they’re awesome. Road noise and Ackerman effect are definitely less noticeable than the Pirellis. Super happy with them.

They are, the only downside of them is bubbles on the walls, very easy to get so be careful!

Any noticeable difference from the Asymmetric 5 NF0?

I had PZ4 NF0 that came with the car, then went through two sets of Asymmetric NF0. I now have PZ4 NF1 and those have much more usable grip than the Asymmetric 5 NF0.

NF are only Taycan, not 911.

Here's the full list:
  • NA (0, 1, 2...): 911
  • NB (0, 1, 2...): 718 Boxster/Cayman
  • NC (0, 1, 2...): Cayenne
  • ND (0, 1, 2...): Panamera
  • NE (0, 1, 2...): Macan
  • NF (0, 1, 2...): Taycan
Note that the number relates to the generation - so an NF1 is a newer design than an NF0, but both still Taycan.

Understood. What I meant was the PZ R is the OEM tire for the 911 (NA 2 in this case)

My non-N rated Hankook ion evo (N rated in a slightly different size) were subjectively much better than the N-rated Goodyears the car had at first. Grip and noise, possibly range too.

On road cars I'm not convinced... Tyre tech moves on quickly. And even if there is a positive difference, it'll be marginal to the point that on the road are you really driving at 10 10ths all the time... The cynic in me thinks this is mostly about interbrand backsheesh.
