When I got my car it hadn’t been driven in a bit and there was some build up on the metal rotors. (GTS)
After driving 1000 kms I took it in for service, complaining about rubbing noises on cold start fist few blocks plus just generally noisy brakes - not squealing but a friction rumble scraping sound. The dealer doesn’t think it’s anything other than dirty rotors. I disagree since I’ve used the car for almost 4000 kms now and I’ve even done the bedding the rotors dance with gradually increasing braking.
Anyone else have similar experience? Could it just be how quiet the car is? (I don’t think so)
