They look great on the car! Good to have in the autumn when our roads here are full of oak tree leaves. They find their way in.

A question though! Do the inserts get in the way for the vanes to operate? I think they can close and open in winter time depending on temperature?

The flaps can operate as it should. No issues there.

I made my own for my 997.2 when i had it. cost about £20 for a bit of black metal mesh and some rubber edging. saved about £200 and was a fun little project.

Yeah, good idea!
The Zunsports are not comparable to metal mesh though.
They are thicker metal and so solid, almost impossible to bend on short ends.

Clever. What did you use to keep them in place?

He used the rubber edges, I guess.
If you cut the metal accurate they will sit tight and deep.

yeah I made them as tight as I could but I still used some paint coloured thin zip ties in the corners

I pressure-wash mine all the time and haven't had any problems. The black finish seems very tough.
