Why not ask the dealership to replace before completing purchase? They do have quite a few to sell so should be motivated... :-)

I too had a red Electrical system fault. Took a long time to resolve and the fix was WPN8 (which didn't work) followed by a new 12V battery which did... Of course there are multiple potential causes of this fault so YMMV. I hope your issue gets resolved soon. Very frustrating.
