No. I was locked out. I was able to lock the door from outside the vehicle because the key was in the driver's door pocket. I was (fortunately) able to unlock it as well. It must have picked up the signal through the door.
But it is a good idea to switch keys for a while. I'll try that.
That issue, whether you can/should be able to unlock from the app, is in another thread here. I researched that one too, because I thought it was illogical that I couldn't get in the vehicle with the key locked inside, and had no other way to get in.
No, it was definitely locked. And another strange thing happened shortly thereafter. I was not able to start the vehicle at all. It just appeared as though there was no key. I had to leave the vehicle, lock it, walk away and then back to the vehicle. It unlocked and then started up. Strange...
