My Taycan ST was produced today (got a confirmation from my dealer ) and now nothing is appearing on the App or My Porche website.
I’m guessing Porsche are doing some updates but not sure .
Tbh I wish they had proper climate control buttons, it feels more likley to malfunction and harder to control while driving if it’s all on one touchscreen.
I just got an update from my dealer this morning. My car was supposed to be completed this week but now has been delayed for completion till 27th July.
And then the car will be delivered to the showroom sometime in September.
Well at least it will have the 72 number plate but really wanted to...
I emailed my Porsche rep yesterday and he said my ST is still on schedule to be built on the 8th of July and completed by the 15th July.
He didn’t mention anything about 12v battery supply
Issues (maybe he is unaware).
From the rumoured 4 weeks to now 8 weeks ?
Mine was originally supposed to be built this month but this got pushed back to Mid July
It now looks like I won’t get the Taycan till September or more realistically October, if this news is true.
The summer is over for me.
I collected a brand new Sprinter van recently after a 6 month wait (wait times are now around a year).
But getting discounts or freebies isn’t happening even with Mercedes - I even had to pay for the mats as these were always thrown in free in the past.
However I did get offered a free coffee...
If you didnt tick the full leather option then yeah you will see plastic instead but I would have hoped it would still feel decent quality.
My Audi Q8 has some plastic as well but doesn’t feel or look cheap.
That said Porsche is a performance car first and luxury second, that’s if you tick the...
I just go an email today from my Sales rep.
My car was meant to be produced this month but has now been delayed until July 8th and build to be completed by 15th July. So a small delay that I was prepared for but only by a month so not too bad all things considered.
I don’t know if this is true but I have read you wait significantly longer via a leasing company instead of buying directly through Porsche.
Most estimates are around a year for the Taycan unless you want the GTS model that has a waiting time of around 18 months.
Here is the code for my Porsche 4S ST - PNSZBUW4.
I orderd mine at Hatfield but I think I got a bit lucky as I was originally going to place an order for a CT with around 1 year waiting time but by pure chance my sales rep said the ST was just released and the waiting time would be halved.
Yes I’m on stage 3 since April 16 as well. My salpes rep emails me at the start of each month since I ordered in Feb so touch wood it will be built as scheduled but like you I can still wait a few extra months if need be.
I have been on stage 3 for the past 6 weeks or so but my sales rep said I should have my car buit next month.
I hope to get it around July as I want to enjoy the car in the summer while it lasts in the UK.
I’m buying my first ever Porsche and certainly not famous.
But yeah probably lucky as I was originally going to opt for a Cross Turismo and was looking around 12 months waiting time but by pure chance my dealer said a ST variant had just been introduced with a 4/5 month waiting time so jumped on it.
I ordered a Taycan Sport Turismo in Feb and so far I’m scheduled as planned to get it built next month and hopefully get the car in July.
I’m on Phase 3 according to my Porsche app and also got an email confirmation earlier this month.
I guess I’m one of the luckier ones in here.
I placed an order for a 4S sport Turismo (Hatfield) on Jan 22 expecting a build time in June this year.
I had initially specked a 4S Cross Turismo expecting around a 1 year waiting time but got lucky that this new line just came out with a very short waiting time.
Different lines have...
It’s a temporary pause I believe.
Also Porsche is suspending all operations and shipments to Russia so the allocated cars that would have gone there will go everywhere else and hopefully the delay will be a few weeks.
