Funny that's exactly where we've found ourselves too. Nothing else appeals - at all.
I have had my eye on an F Car for 4-5 years and that's probably where I'll end up, just not right now with very inflated prices.
We bought both of ours through our business also, the tax sitation was just too appealing.
It's been compunded by the fact I had the car 10 days when this happened, it was collected a month ago and I still don't know when it's coming back for sure.
There is one technician in each Approved...
Initially I didn't intend to claim but once I added up the cost of the parts and the small amount of paintwork it made sense to claim. I was assuming they replace the wheels and tyres and tidy up the bodywork.
Because of what the car is my insurer insisted it went to a Porsche Approved...
I hit some hardcore, so a partial brick and some stones. It looked like it caught on the very edge of the rim and flicked up and just slightly caught the bodywork.
We also have electric Mazdas we leased as daily runarounds. Owning them has been the deciding factor (same thought process you...
We've just had an offer from our supplying dealer to buy back both our cars.
12/21 4S saloon (22my) - 2,000 miles (cost £110K) - offer £105K
02/22 4S CT - 300 miles (cost £110K) - offer £113K
These are opening offers, we're going to talk to some more dealers when they are back from repair and...
Admiral send your car to M&A Coachworks which is a Porsche Approved Repairer.
Ask me how I know....

And there's the anomaly. In hindsight had I taken ot to the dealer, they would have replaced the wheel and tyre, done a visual inspection and alignment check, at which point seeing no damage likely sent me on my way to get the bodywork tidied up.
It's actually why I asked for this happen - it...
Anecdotally, there's evidence of all of the above.
That's the oddity about this entre situation.
What do I actually feel has happened? I feel the car has been taken to a repairer that has gouged every possible extra on the bill and when getting called out on it now can't back down through fear...
Initially I was just going to buy a wheel/tyre myself, but once I got the cost of that and the other small bits and pieces it made "sense" to claim. My excess isn't big.
The car didn't actually need to be recovered it drove just fine. It's only the insurers being risk averse that they sent a...
The impact wasn't severe enough to puncture the tyre.
Any Data log is irrelvant anyhow - any "structural" damage the necessitates wheel repacement automatically triggers all the associated parts I detailed in post 1.
In this case the "log" is - Does the wheel require replacement = Yes, Then...
I have a full breakdown of the work required from the approved repairer based on the centralised computer system they all use (that links with the insurers).
I had two inspections done, one by the insurers (who have been very helpful) and a second independent inspection. Neither of which...
This is an arbitary list of things that require replacement in incidents involving a damaged wheel as dictated by Porsche to the Porsche Approved repairers. The fact there is no visible damage to any of the components that require replacement is irrelevant. The potential that there may be damage...
I took delivery of this lovely looking car in early February and was absolutely delighted with it.
10 Days and less than 300 miles later it was being recovered to a Porsche Approved Repair specialist after I damaged a wheel.
Doesn't look too bad does it? Those two images above have lead...
I was tempted by both Viola and Amethyst, but they both need the California type sunshine to bring out the best of them. In the UK they just look a bit dull, which is a shame as they are lovely colours.
