I hate to ask how much they charged you to install it. I own several EVSE's and currently have 2 installed now that have never needed any "service". Very much a scam IMHO.
100% it's a placeholder. Wait until the following Monday and you will see, it will push another 2 weeks. My car is also supposed to be on the vessel that day heading to San Diego. Not going to happen, won't see it until April at best.
My PWCC does work with my i4, the car complains a bit but still charges. No issues with the PWCC, it's doing it's part. That being said, I am not doing any software updates. I have other EVSEs for the i4 but because of this thread wanted to see if it would be an issue. So far so good.
Thanks for holiday cheer Dave! Best to you and your family too.
Just installed my 19.2 yesterday... will post some pics. Still waiting for the car though.... :(
So curious... for those of you who have finally received your car, what is the date of manufacture? The date it was completed without the battery or with?

All true, happened to me too. The dealer closest to me is beyond scum... they will only give allocation to you if you want to buy a Turbo S or 911 GT3. The sales management is smug and they don't give a shit. I just refuse to deal with them anymore and will not even take my cars there for...
You missed my point entirely. I was not talking about the in car dashboard, my bad there. I shouldn't have to go search for it, it should more intuitive and give me options. Enjoy your ride.
So to start, I'm not trying to compare a Taycan to a Tesla here. Tesla does this better (but not great) but who cares, that's a different forum.
My Taycan by default has automatic updates turned off, which is good. I don't like to receive updates until I have had a chance to see what the update...
