I asked Fitcamx support, and they said turning on the parking mode only wakes up the camera in the event of a "big collision". Otherwise, the camera is always off. See screenshot.
Is that the 4k version? My buttons are on the bottom of the camera.
But man, the cover where the camera installs was a b*tch to remove! I don't know how you did it so quickly. I also found it very difficult to tuck the wires under the smaller, middle trim piece in order to snap it back into place.
I installed the Fitcamx. It just installs into the rain sensors existing socket. I had a similar cam installed in my 2017 Model X for 4 years that also plugged into the rain sensor (my car didn't have sentry mode). When the 12v battery died on that car after 3 years (which is a common issue)...
My maps auto day/night worked today. Maybe I'm paying too much attention to every single minor thing. But smart lift still doesn't show up. Emailed the dealership.
Can you give me the link again of how you solved this issue? But I remember hearing others used your solution and they still had alarm issues.
Does anyone else have their map stuck in night mode?
TORQUE SPLIT: I've checked all items and all wheel torque split is not even showing.
DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS: In every YouTube video I've scene, the red light bar in the rear is always on during the day. It appears the same rear lights are always on regardless of day or night. At least that is...
Oh, I forgot to mention that I also have the alarm issue. Ha! One more problem than you!
I'm finding the menus and software WAY too complicated compared to my Tesla. I'm getting more used to it, but I still feel it could have been re-structured and cleaned up dramatically.
Where are you in Canada? I'm in Vancouver also with a 2022.
1) The dealer did this for me so he got it to work. No advice here.
2) I'm having the same issue, but when the rain stopped yesterday and the sun came out, it turned to day mode. But today it stayed in dark mode for an entire drive...
I put my Nav into auto day/night display mode, but the car seems to always want to stay in night mode. Occasionally it will go into day mode, but it requires a lot of sun and jumps back to night mode soon after. Is there something wrong with my car?
Does smart lift deactivate automatically when you leave the saved location? How long is it supposed to take? I drove around the entire block of my house and it wouldn't de-activate.
I actually never saw the thread that you posted here prior, but it is good additional information. I think the only thing from the post above and the post that I made, which I forgot to mention, is that you should start by removing the largest trim piece first because (1) it is easiest and (2)...
